Masters Cup Quarter Finals Match Day 2

27 FEB 2015

One of the biggest rivalries in the history of Secondary football was rekindled as St Gregory’s College, Ikoyi matched up Kings College, Lagos in a battle of the Titans. However, it proved to be a surprisingly one-sided affair as the tie was decided in a 5-minute span in the first half as St. Gregory’s College scored 3 quick goals. The game ended 4-1 to the delight of the throng of St. Gregory’s College alumni including GTBank MD – Segun Agbaje.
St. Finbarrs College, Akoka who have won the Principals Cup more times than any other school in history, confirmed their pedigree by picking the last semi-final ticket with a 3 : 1 victory against Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba.
