Two weeks of exciting games – Masters Cup Grouping Stage
In Group A of the boys category, Methodist Boys High School, Victoria Island are on top with 5 points and they are closely followed by Grace High School, Gbagada who also have 5 points. Kings College, Ikoyi and Federal Govt. College, Ijanikin both have 4 points while Ansar-Ud-Deen, Isolo sit at the bottom with 2 points.
St Finbarr’s College, Akoka and C.M.S Grammar School, Bariga both qualified from Group C with 5 points. It was a tight group which saw both schools progressing on goal differences ahead of Whitesands, Victoria Island and Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Randle who have 5 and 0 points respectively.
For Group D, Anwar-Ul-Islam College, Agege and Western College, Yaba both top the group with 9 points over Federal Science of Technical College, Yaba (3 points), Corona Secondary School, Agbara (0 points) and Dowen College, Lekki (0 points). But it’s still undecided who goes through with matches left to be played.
For the girls category, Ansar-Ud-Deen (AUD), Itire and Ansar-Ud-Deen College (ADC), Isolo both have 4 points but Ansar-Ud-Deen (AUD) top the group on goal differences. They are ahead of Federal Science of Technical College, Yaba (3 points) and Jubril Martins Grammar School, Iponri (0 points) in Group A.
Queens College, Yaba remain leaders in Group B with 3 Points while Methodist Girls Hig School, Yaba and Federal College Ijanikin trail behind with 1 point each. Holy Child College, Ikoyi and Corona Secondary School, Agbara are at the bottom of the group with 0 points.
