Camp GTBank Participants Inspired by Steven Odey and Chinaza Nneji
Ex-Camp GTBank players Stephen Odey and Chinaza Nneji who took part in the 2012 and 2015 editions of the programme respectively, visited the 2017 camp on day 2 to interact and share experiences with participants at this year’s programme.
Stephen Odey, who captained his former school team, Dairy Farm Senior Secondary School, Agege to winning the GTBank-Lagos State Principals Cup in 2012, now plays for MFM FC in the Nigerian Professional Football League, encouraged the players to take the lessons and camp training seriously as it offers the best opportunity to begin a successful career.
Chinaza Nneji on her part urged the players to be disciplined and focused, as she shared memories of how her training in the 2015 Camp helped build her confidence as a player and captain to win the 2016 edition of the GTBank-Masters Cup with Queeen’s College, Yaba. Chinaza is currently studying Pharmacy in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
