Best Behaved & Best On-field Players Recognized at 2017 Camp GTBank Variety Night
One of the special features at the Camp GTBank 2017 was the special awards for the best behaved, and best on-field players sponsored by Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi, 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, and Mr Waheed Akanni, a member of the coaching team, respectively.
The two categories of awards which are supported with personal monetary pledges by both donors, are dedicated to two groups of outstanding boys and girls to reward and encourage good conduct, discipline, hard work, dedication and selflessness by the students.
After keen observation, monitoring and assessment of each player in the week long camp, the four students who showed strong character and traits worthy of emulation to merit the special prizes were:
- Nwachukwu Onyedikachi – Best Behaved Male
- Ariwa Nkechi – Best Behaved Female
- Onyirioha Emmanuel – Best On-field Male
- Ariori Dolapo – Best On-field Female
The students were recognized during a Variety Night, the last event on the camp schedule of activities which creates a platform for the players to show their creative talents in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. It featured music and dance performances, drama presentation, etc.
