Ann Chiejine Graces GTBank-Lagos State Principals Cup Semis
Highly celebrated ex-Super Falcons goalie, and currently a coach in the female National Team, Ann Chiejine, graced the GTBank-Lagos State Principals Cup Semi-Finals which took place at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
She saw the female semi-final match between Ikotun Senior Secondary school and defending champions Government Girls College which Ikotun won 3-1. She was impressed at the quality of play put up by the young stars. She also presented the match ball to the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Miss Salisu Anuoluwapo, captain of Ikotun Senior Secondary School.
Ann who represented Nigeria at 3 FIFA World Cups, Olympics and Women African Cup of Nations was disciplined and was dedicated to her career which now led her into sports administration. She also imbibed the spirit of sportsmanship and played by the rules during her time at the National Team. Her presence at the venue was a morale booster for the young stars as she is the perfect example of dedication, discipline and hope that one can be successful through diligence in the pursuit of their dreams.
